Electronic Entertainment Expo ("E3") — Convergence of 4 Dimensions (“Convergence”) announces SilicaNexus, and the opportunity to sign up for early access for the ‘Your best virtual goods infomercial contest’. E3 early access at http://www.silicanexus.com.

“If you are a game developer, enthusiast, concept artist, 3D modeler, animator, indie filmmaker, or aspire to be, this is your chance to demonstrate your game-developer skills, gain key exposure and break into this exciting industry,” said Andrew J. Prell, Founder of Convergence, who developed ‘Wolfenstein VR’, in the early 1990s.

SilicaNexus is the first Cross-Screen/Cross-Reality Virtual Universe ("VU") that goes far beyond traditional Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game and virtual worlds, with seamless integration of Virtual Reality (“VR”) and Augmented Reality (“AR”) components in and outside of the game.

Developers looking to get their works published in an 'AAA' game will relish the opportunity to collaborate and gain exposure through this unique platform.

SilicaNexus is developing a campaign to span from E3 to the 2016 Rio Olympics, which is something that has never been done before, with technologies that have never been available until now.

The first 500 people who sign up for early access become insiders, gaining valuable clues of the game project, which will be announced at Siggraph 2015.

“There is a vast untapped group of people in the world that desperately want to make games. The industry has a barrier to entry for these talented people-telling them they can’t work in the industry unless they have 'AAA' game credit on their resume. It’s not fair that so many amazing talents are languishing in the sidelines. We want to change this and be the first company to offer a viable solution for this populous,” said Tom Roe (T.A. Roe), author of Silica sci/fantasy novel series that spawned the Silica Nexus project.

The Convergence team for SilicaNexus is comprised of industry pioneers in several areas of video games, virtual reality, augmented reality, MMOs, simulations, arcade games, consumer products and theme park attractions. They have founded multiple professional industry organizations, and provided executive level consulting for leading companies.
