Northern Michigan’s Castle Farms Showcases Wedding Vendors with a Vow Renewal
Charlevoix, Michigan (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Castle Farms held The Not So Real Castle Wedding on May 9, 2015. The event showcased Northern Michigan wedding vendors and Castle Farms to bridal couples seeking inspiration for their wedding.
“The Not So Real Castle Wedding is the hottest way for brides and grooms to experience Castle Farms and top Northern Michigan wedding vendors,” says Johanna Alexander, Castle Farms Wedding Planner. Couples witnessed a real vow renewal at the popular wedding venue, followed by cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.
The 55 attendees were able to experience firsthand how professionals handled each aspect of a wedding including catering, ministerial services, photography, transportation, and entertainment. A host of Northern Michigan vendors participated in the event, including Grey Gables Inn Restaurant & Catering, Monarch Garden and Floral Design, and Paxton Photography.
The lucky couple selected for this year’s vow renewal at The Not So Real Castle Wedding was Jodi and Todd Thompson, who will celebrate their 25th anniversary this August. The vow renewal ceremony was held at Castle Farms in the Queen’s Courtyard, with the Rev. Glad Remaly officiating as clergy, assisted by Todd’s father, who had married the couple 25 years earlier. Jodi and Todd’s daughters, Carly and Rachel, were there too, and stood up with their parents. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour, then dinner and dancing in the Knight’s Castle.
The event was successful as guests left with an understanding of how wedding vendors work and fun was had by all, especially the Thompsons!
