AdlensFocuss is a new solution for patients who have failed to use progressive lenses successfully, don’t like the lined look of bi- and tri-focal lenses, and don’t want to juggle multiple pairs of glasses.
Bronx, NY (PRWEB) June 20, 2015
AdlensFocuss, a pioneering solution for customized vision correction, has launched in the New York City market at Metro Optics Eyewear’s four Bronx eye care practices – giving eye doctors a new option for their presbyopic patients beyond lined bi-or tri-focal or progressive lenses. AdlensFocuss provides a single-vision viewing experience, with four times the viewing area of a no-line bifocal. Wearers switch between their distance, intermediate, and reading prescriptions by clicking the small hidden dial on the inside of the frame’s temple.
“AdlensFocuss is an ideal solution for patients who have failed to use progressive lenses successfully, don’t like the lined look of bi- and tri-focal lenses, and don’t want to juggle multiple pairs of glasses,” said John Bonizio, Metro Optics’ Chief Operating Officer (himself a presbyope, an optician, and a self-described 'early adopter'). All AdlensFocuss purchases include lenses and frame, which the patient selects from a variety of 4 styles, each available in multiple colors.
Metro Optics’ optical facilities in Westchester Square, Parkchester, Hunts Point and Throggs Neck were selected as the only Bronx vision care facilities to launch AdlensFocuss by the leadership at Adlens, due to the optical’s commitment to providing the latest technological advancements at every level of practice management. Metro Optics will officially launch AdlensFocuss at the Fair at the Square on June 20, 2015, from 11am – 5pm, along with representatives from Adlens. The popular annual community event is anticipated to draw thousands of visitors from around the Bronx and beyond.
