This is the seventh year in a row the omni-channel commerce platform provider received a CQIA Innovation Prize.
By bestowing the award on GoECart yet again, the CQIA is acknowledging the company's commitment to ongoing innovation, as the CQIA promotes and recognizes excellence and innovation in CT based organizations.
GoECart received this year’s award because it proactively upgraded many of its client’s ecommerce sites to be mobile-optimized well in advance of Google’s shake-up of search rankings. Google said: “Starting April 21 (2015), we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.”
While many eCommerce platform providers and clients appear to have been taken surprise by the Google and subsequent Bing algorithm changes, as well as the overall rise in m-commerce sales, GoECart saw this opportunity arising and implemented changes to its platform and client websites well in advance. One GoECart merchant, Wholesale Accessory Market, reported for the period between Nov 2013 and April 2014, as compared to the same period 2014-15: Mobile traffic jumped 216%, Mobile conversions skyrocketed from 0.66% to 1.44%; and an impressive 262% increase in mobile commerce revenue.
Similarly, when comparing from a two week period before and after GoECart optimized their site for mobile users, yet another client, Identity Stronghold a B2B/B2C ecommerce company, also saw immediate, measurable results: Mobile conversions surged by 35% and mobile revenue soared 50%.
