Neil Kelly Company Wins Three Prestigious Design Awards from The Oregon Remodelers Association
Portland Oregon (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- Neil Kelly Company, an award-winning design-build remodeling firm is pleased to announce it won three Outstanding Remodeling Achievement Awards from The Oregon Remodelers Association (ORA). The awards were given based on design, craftsmanship, and how well each project met their clients’ needs and wants.
2015 ORA Achievement Awards were presented to the following Neil Kelly designers:
1. Sandi Erdman: in the Residential Bath between $75-100K category
About the design: This bathroom sanctuary features many creature comforts including a whirlpool tub, a rain head shower, heated tile floors, visually rich walnut cabinetry and an exquisite wave design mosaic in Calcutta marble. With no windows in the room, light was an issue. The design team widened the existing skylight well to spread across the width of the room and added LED recessed lighting in the ceiling and sconces at the vanity.
2. Martha Kerr, CMKBD, CR: in the Residential Kitchen between $30-60K category
About the design: The homeowners wanted their (newly downsized) space to feel open. They also wanted to add a “wow” factor. The kitchen design features dramatic red cabinets, white countertops and creative storage solutions. The clean lines reflect the craftsmanship of the carpentry team. The result is a fun, lively space great for cooking and entertaining.
3. Randi Reed, CMKBD, CAPS: in the Residential Bath Under $25K category
About the design: To follow the Tuscan style of the home, this bathroom features dramatic lines and textures. The cabinets have soft yellow tones and a brown glaze. The back splash is hand-chiseled and smoothed to add dimension to the small space. The sink is cast bronze with a complimentary waterfall offset faucet. The finishing touch is the handcrafted Venetian wall plaster. The overall effect is rich, warm and an extension of the adjoining spaces.
“These projects show how our designers are passionate about creating well-designed spaces for homeowners on every budget,” states President Tom Kelly. “In the last 5 years, our designers have taken home 22 ORA awards.”
