Celebrate New Jersey’s Largest July 4th Celebration at Oceanfest in Long Branch!!
Long Branch, New Jersey (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Oceanfest is a family-friendly celebration that takes place Saturday, July 4th from 10 am to 10 pm, rain or shine, along the half mile stretch of the Long Branch Oceanfront Promenade from Pier Village north to Seven President’s Park.
“Oceanfest showcases the best of Long Branch and the best of the Jersey Shore”, said Nancy Kleiberg, Executive Director of the Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce and Oceanfest co-chair. “Whether you are strolling the Promenade, sampling the great food or watching your child in awe of the fireworks, Oceanfest is summer in New Jersey!”, she added.
Featured musical performances by Rave On, the Sam Haiman Band, Valarie Adams & the Dimensions, Predator Dub Assassins and Mad Satta will take place on the Great Lawn Stage from 12:30 PM until the fireworks. In addition to the Great Lawn Stage, the Garfield Memorial Stage on the Promenade is pleased to welcome back Oceans of Rhythm who are set to perform at 4 PM.
The Garfield Memorial Stage will also showcase a wide range of children’s entertainment, including a pirate show, circus performers, balloon artists, strolling cartoon characters and a Wizard Show.
For 25 years Oceanfest at Long Branch has hosted a world class fireworks display at 9 PM. This year will be more spectacular than ever and will be synchronized to patriotic music with a live radio simulcast on Q104.3FM. So plan on being on the beach or on the Boardwalk to see the fantastic display!!
