HCPro announces the Billers’ Association for Long-Term Care!
Danvers, MA (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- At HCPro, we recognize that long-term care billers are a largely underserved professional population. While long-term care has national associations for nearly every type of nursing home professional, no membership association for billing professionals exists—until now.
HCPro’s Billers' Association for Long-Term Care is a national membership community designed specifically for long-term care billers and business office managers. This much-needed association fills a major industry void and meets the needs of long-term care billing professionals by providing a credible, go-to source for billing, regulatory, and reimbursement information, and offering billing-specific guidance, education, and training that staff need to be successful in their roles.
The Billers' Association will enable billing staff to collaborate and network with individuals in their field for the purpose of submitting claims appropriately and accurately, and help billing staff make sense of regulatory changes and highlight what they need to know about the evolving world of billing.
There are two membership levels for professionals to choose from: Basic and Platinum. Both Basic and Platinum level include the all-new weekly e-newsletter, The Bottom Line, that highlights regulatory changes and provides coding and billing advice, a quarterly webcast to discuss recent regulatory changes, a quarterly, electronic white paper on top billing and reimbursement issues, a tools and forms library culled from HCPro's array of resources and created by long-term care industry experts, and the talk group "Billers' Talk" where members can collaborate and share ideas. Platinum membership extends the benefits with a weekly article from the Billing Alert for Long-Term Care newsletter covering timely news, regulations, and analysis as the information is released and an electronic-only version, end-of-the-month roundup of Billing Alert for Long-Term Care.
"For almost 30 years, HCPro has partnered with industry experts to provide long-term care professionals with education and tools that help deliver high quality care to residents. We are excited to further strengthen that partnership with the launch of the Billers' Association for Long-Term Care, which will support the financial health of the nation's long-term care facilities," says Erin E. Callahan, Vice President Content and Product, HCPro
