Warsaw Community Schools (IN) Partners with InfoSnap for an Innovative Online Student Registration Solution Inclusive of Spanish Translation
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Warsaw Community Schools in Indiana is transitioning from their current online student registration system to an intuitive solution, customized by InfoSnap, to streamline new and annual student registration. InfoSnap’s award winning integration with PowerSchool, Warsaw’s student information system, will effectuate real-time, on-demand data transfer between the two systems. This enhanced process will increase efficiencies throughout the 7, 200-student district and provide families with a convenient method to register students for school.

InfoSnap will customize a solution based on the district’s existing business processes. Families who have more than one child in the district can ‘snap’ data from one student to another. The use of SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, will collect relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.). The data submitted by families is reviewed, polished, and formatted to meet the district’s policies and then delivered into PowerSchool, resulting in accurate and up-to-date data by the first day of school.
“It’s impressive to know that when a family enters their address during the registration process, it will be submitted through the USPS database first to ensure accuracy and formatted correctly to enter PowerSchool. We’re working with InfoSnap to develop an intuitive solution that will be valuable to the entire school community,” notes Barkey.
InfoSnap’s Language Localization will meet the need of this diverse population by providing multilingual forms to families in English and Spanish. The district is excited about the smart logic built into their solution. The ability to display information that’s specific to a student based on a selection during registration is an important component. “Families registering students with a medical condition or for sport related activities will be prompted to provide more information. We are increasing our safety standards by adequately serving our families and students,” said Barkey.
