Cloud4Wi appoints Hector Lim as Head of Sales and Regional Sales Director in APAC

Leveraging his 30-year experience and expertise, Hector will boost Cloud4Wi’s expansion in the Asia Pacific region

Cloud4Wi, the world’s first open Wi-Fi engagement platform, today announced its expansion into the Asia Pacific region with the appointment of Hector Lim, as Head of Sales and Regional Sales Director, reporting to Gianni Altamura, VP International Sales.

Hector will be based in Singapore and will drive Cloud4Wi forward in the APAC region. He will be working to develop the distributors and reseller channels across countries in APAC, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia and India, as well as acquiring directly key customers in these countries.

Hector draws upon more than 27 Years of experience in terms of regional sales and management within the Asia Pacific Region. He has exceptionally strong experience and expertise in the Telecommunications, Satellite, Broadcasters and Information Technology industry.

Hector was previously Head of Sales and Regional Director in APAC at Aptilo Networks, a leading provider of carrier-class systems to manage data services with advanced functions for authentication, policy control and charging, where he focused on service providers in the Wi-Fi MDO platform space. Before joining Aptilo Networks, Hector worked at SingTel, Scientific Atlanta Inc., Alvarion and Alcatel.

Thanks to his years of experience, vast knowledge and extensive contacts, Hector will start to drive Cloud4Wi’s sales and corporate objectives in the Asia Pacific region almost immediately, enabling the company to achieve its expansion plans into the region more effectively.
