We thought New Yorkers needed a better way to get out of town, so Silvercar has delivered a hassle-free and streamlined experience ensuring that customers can make the most out of every weekend.

Perfectly timed for when New Yorkers are looking to escape the city, car rental company Silvercar in partnership with Chelsea Hotels is launching The Easy Out, a limited-time pop up for the summer season. Already shaking up the archaic car rental industry at airports across the country, Silvercar’s The Easy Out offers a new alternative to head out of town - a fully loaded Audi A4 - available July 1st through Labor Day weekend (September 7th). Customers can reserve via Silvercar’s app (iPhone and Android) or online starting today, Friday June 26th.

Silvercar will offer customers a convenient pick up and drop off location adjacent to Chelsea Hotels’ McCarren Hotel & Pool in Williamsburg (160 North 12th Street). After booking their reservation in advance, customers access their car by simply opening the Silvercar app and tapping a button to alert their personal concierge that they’re about five minutes away (when, for example, they just exited the L at Bedford), and their Silvercar will be waiting right outside McCarren’s front door. Scan the QR code on the dashboard to unlock the car and hit the road - no paperwork, crowds or mystery car involved. All Silvercars come standard with in-car Wi-Fi, in dash GPS, Bluetooth and Sirius Radio.

Silvercar’s silver fleet of Audi A4s also allow you to roll into the weekend in style without breaking the bank. With a daily rate of $99 and room for up to five passengers, this sleek car is more cost-efficient, not to mention comfortable, than the train or bus. It also leaves other rental cars in the dust, which charge as much as $160 per day without any of the additional features that come standard with Silvercar.
