Josh Wenner,Progressive Dental Marketing (PDM) Director of Western Regional Sales, will attend and speak at the Sleep Group Solutions Dental Sleep Seminar on June 26 and 27, 2015. The seminar will be held at the Glidewell International Technology Center in Irvine, CA and will discuss various marketing techniques to attendees. Wenner will also be available for questions and discussion about marketing techniques and opportunities.
The two-day course is a must-attend for dental offices that wish to implement a sleep protocol or to learn how to increase existing sleep revenues. Day one of the course covers the following: introduction to sleep, including sleep stages and disorders; sleep apnea prevalence and why treatment is needed; sleep apnea symptoms and clinical issues; a protocol review for treating snoring and sleep apnea in a dental office; and patient education. In addition, attendees will have the benefit of hands-on work with a Pharyngometer/Rhinometer in preparation for an overnight home sleep study for select course attendees.
During the second day, data from the previous night’s home sleep tests will be downloaded, reviewed, and reported to the class. Also on the schedule to be covered is appliance review and hands-on experience working popular oral appliances such as the TAP, Respire, EMA, SilentNight, and more. Case presentations will be made and medical insurance billing will be discussed. During this day, PDM’s Wenner will also educate attendees on strategic marketing techniques for sleep apnea, for those interested in growing their practices.
Course instructor Dr. Barry Freydberg is a full-time practicing dentist. A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, he was named “Alumni of the Year” in 2004. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics. He is also a leading speaker on conservative “prepless” esthetic dentistry and is considered a pioneer in raising dentists’ awareness of the ever-growing link between high technology and practice and clinical management.
