LJFA: La Jolla Festival of the Arts 2015 Acknowledges 8 Best in Show Artists
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 29, 2015 -- Torrey Pines Kiwanis and San Diego Magazine hosted the 29th La Jolla Festival of the Arts last week, June 20–21 naming 8 Best in Show artists from the nearly 200 exhibiting artists onsite.
The record-breaking show honored artist from around the globe while receiving acknowledgement from public officials such as California State Representative 52nd district, Scott Peters.
“The visual arts complement our surrounding environment by adding to our public spaces and the economic vitality of our communities," stated Peters.
“By pairing its work to serve those most in need with the support of San Diego’s vibrant arts community, the Kiwanis Club of Torrey Pines’ La Jolla Festival of the Arts is a unique representation of some of our region’s best qualities.”

"Guests enjoyed the array of excellent art,” said Robert Metz, a 33 year member and current President of the Kiwanis Club of Torrey Pines. “Each of the disabled programs chosen to be represented at the Festival are looking forward to receiving a share of the net proceeds."
Kiwanis Club of Torrey Pines is thrilled with the success of the 29th annual La Jolla Festival of the Arts. He applauded the Torrey Pines club committees for their yearlong planning efforts.
