In this role, Richard will be responsible for leading and integrating multiple research practices within Eduventures, overseeing the development and evaluation of ongoing research agendas and spearheading new research to address the changing needs of higher education leaders. As an experienced research professional, Richard will extend Eduventures thought leadership in the areas of online learning, enrollment management, development and technology innovation.
Richard Garrett has 20 years of experience in higher education research, consulting and policy. Richard spearheaded Eduventures’ research into the online market and has become recognized globally as a leading analyst on the transformation of higher education. Prior to returning to Eduventures, Richard was North America Director for i-graduate, the UK higher education survey and consulting firm that runs the International Student Barometer, the world’s largest survey of international student satisfaction. He also became Director of the Observatory on Borderless Higher Education.
Richard has worked as a researcher in the School of Education at the University of Surrey and a policy analyst at the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from King’s College London and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cambridge.
