Revolutionary Gun Maker Paul Leitner-Wise Unveils the Mark VI Upper Receiver for AR-15 Rifles
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- Paul Leitner-Wise, the visionary behind LWRC (Leitner-Wise™ Rifle Company) one of the most successful operating rod systems for the ArmaLite Rifle platform (AR), today announced that his latest innovation, a breakthrough new technology based on the novel op-rod system, is now available to the public for sale.
“I’m very excited about this upper receiver,” Leitner-Wise says. “We constantly strive to innovate and break the mold of the standard black gun and this is the next step in the evolution of AR’s.”
Heat destroys a weapon so any steps that can be taken to minimize heat stress will not only prolong its life, but contribute to overall accuracy and consistency. Leitner-Wise Manufacturing has taken over 20 individual parts of the AR and improved on them through relentless engineering, right down to a completely redesigned firing pin retaining pin.
“The piston-operated upper receiver is innovative because it offers a simplified design that reduces heat stress and causes less wear on the bolt carrier which prolongs the life of the weapon,” LWM founder Vanessa Vy says. “The end result is the Rolex of guns.”
The Mark VI upper receiver is packed with features including the patented Leitner-Wise™ op-rod system and gas block with an enhanced nitrided carrier and bolt, three extra Picatinny rail slots, a C3 Hybrid Compensator, the M3 XD Extreme Duty configurable steel charging handle, a set of rear and front emergency sights, and a fluted combat match nitrided barrel.
One thing you won’t find on a Leitner-Wise™ Mark VI Upper Receiver is the Vietnam-era forward assist. “It’s a thing of the past,” Leitner-Wise says. “If a round doesn’t want to go into the chamber then forcing it in isn’t going to help. That’s the dumbest accessory on an AR.”
All upper receivers are sold with serial numbers, but you can’t buy LWM001. That’s reserved for the veteran charity, Warrior 360, which will be auctioned in person as well as live on the internet. All other numbers will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis and LWM will match the serial numbers on upper receivers with lower receivers and Bolt Carrier Groups in order to maintain consistent numbering.
The Leitner-Wise name is well known in the firearm industry and has a reputation for producing high end rifles. Like an expertly crafted Swiss watch, all LWM parts and accessories are engineered to make any AR-15 reliable, consistent, and accurate, which the company believes saves lives.
“When you resort to using a firearm you are already in a situation where seconds matter and life is on the line. There is no room for error,” Leitner-Wise says.
