Medford, New Jersey (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- The Return to Roots annual arts, yoga and healing festival will be held July 30- August 3, 2015 at the serene Indian Acres Tree Farm in Medford, New Jersey. In its 5th year, the retreat cultivates education, activation, self-expression and community.
The brainchild of Megan Ruppert, a visionary business coach, the Return to Roots Gathering has evolved to become a creative space for conscious, spiritual, and community transformation.
Says Ruppert, “My awakening happened when I discovered hoop dance in 2008. The empowerment and self-love that came out of my hoop practice inspired me to start Return to Roots in 2011. While I had no event production experience, I took action in faith – knowing that this project was much bigger than myself, and that I would be divinely guided through the process.”

Beginning as a festival focused on hoop dance, with the addition of Margaret “Meggi” Connor as producer in 2013, the festival has had the opportunity to expand workshop topics and musical performances.
For 2015, featured workshops will be led by world-renowned hoop, yoga and dance instructors, sustainability experts, energy workers, healers and flow artists.
“Attendees can participate in sound healing and group meditation, aerial arts, or can simply just lay the day away in our sanctuary- the possibilities are endless,” adds Ruppert.

Her tiny terrier, Jett, serves as her primary source of inspiration through good times and bad, bringing positivity into every facet of her life.
