Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association to Host “Email Marketing 101” Seminar on Monday, July 20
SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 -- The Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association and the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau will host its next quarterly seminar, entitled “Email Marketing 101 – Using Creativity to Motivate Your Customers to Act,” 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday, July 20 at Holiday Inn Shreveport Downtown, 102 Lake Street in Shreveport.
Seminar attendees will learn best practices for email marketing to increase brand awareness, attract donation dollars and improve click-thrus to websites and social media platforms. The hands-on session will also cover strategies and techniques to create compelling content, timely messages and improve open rates.
Charles Gaiennie, CEO of the W.L. Gaiennie Company, will be the featured speaker. Gaiennie is one of only a handful of Master Certified Consulting Partners with email marketing leader Constant Contact. His marketing agency has worked with hundreds of companies across Louisiana and handled regional and statewide tourism projects.
“The goal of this workshop is to help attractions learn how to use email marketing to drive visitation and increase sales,” said Julia Foley, president of the Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association. “Email marketing should be a powerful tool in every attractions’ marketing plan, because they can use email to engage with their customers at little to no cost.”
The seminar is only for tourism-related attractions such as annual events, art galleries, festivals, museums, nature centers, outdoor recreation, performing arts and tour guides. Lunch will be provided. Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association members can attend for free and non-members can attend by paying $20 at the door. Advance registration is required.
