"The I-Table is a natural complement to a fully integrated cutting room." Ron Ellis, Gerber senior product manager
TOLLAND, Conn. (PRWEB) July 02, 2015
Gerber Technology, the world leader in integrated software and hardware solutions for the apparel and industrial markets, introduces the I-Table Series for automated spreading and cutting systems. The I-Table incorporates a series of unique engineering enhancements to ensure ease of material movement for operators and long-term durability in a variety of manufacturing environments.
The I-Table optimizes the fabric spreading and cutting processes, featuring simplified operation and increased consistency across multiple configurations. Precision molded strips connect table units, allowing fabric to move smoothly across multiple sections and preventing costly damage from fabric and hand-cutting blades getting caught on uneven seams. The I-Table’s laminate top and chipboard substructure prevent chipping, table wear and warping. Its construction grade steel platform provides a sturdy and reliable base for high-capacity, standard width spreaders weighing as much as 800 kg. Its redesigned airbox provides consistent airflow across the table.
“The I-Table is a natural complement to our XLs spreader and Paragon® cutting platforms,” said Ron Ellis, Gerber Technology senior product manager. “It demonstrates our commitment to adding value to all aspects of the cutting room, with a product that is durable and part of a fully integrated solution.”
The I-Table offers a range of versatile configurations and is available in widths of 1.8 meters, 2.0 meters, 2.2 meters, 2.4 meters and 2.6 meters. Its easily adjustable, jack-style legs allow for height adjustments between 75 cm and 96 cm, while its power and operator guide rails can be mounted on either side of the table.
The I-Table is part of Gerber Technology’s integrated cutting room solutions, including the Paragon cutting platform, XLs Series spreaders, MP Series plotters and AccuMark® pattern design software. Learn more about these systems at http://www.gerbertechnology.com.
