OB Jacobi, president of Windermere Real Estate, announced today that San Diego-based Windermere Homes & Estates is expected to reach $1 billion in sales in its second year in business, making it the fastest growing franchise group within Windermere’s 300 office network.
In July 2013, Windermere Homes & Estates co-owners, Rich Johnson and Brian Gooding, opened their first office in Santaluz with 0 agents. Twenty-four months later, they’ve opened six additional offices and recruited more than 300 agents with plans for future expansion.
“When Brian and I opened our first Windermere office two years ago, we agreed that our main focus would be keeping the culture agent-centered and family-oriented by putting relationships before sales quotas,” said Johnson. “We also wanted to create an environment that fueled success and innovation."
Since that time, Windermere Homes & Estates has expanded to seven offices in San Diego County and are the fourth largest residential real estate brokerage in San Diego based on sales volume. The company currently has a rolling 12-month sales volume of $875 million and this year, they expect to hit $1 billion.
“Rich and Brian are the poster children for how to do things right,” said Jacobi. “They’ve embraced the Windermere culture, adopted all of our tools and technology, and built a team that understands that earning the respect of our clients and community can only be done through the highest level of professionalism.”
