Major Media Reports on First Team Real Estate Foundation Major Gift To Irvine Public Schools Foundation In Support Of The Summer Enrichment Academy
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) July 20, 2015 -- Helping Orange County’s kids grow in the summertime, the First Team Real Estate Foundation has presented a gift to the Irvine Public Schools Foundation in support for their Summer Enrichment Academy in the amount of $175,000 as detailed in coverage from the Daily Pilot newspaper.
“The First Team Real Estate Foundation has participants who have spent nearly all their professional lives involved in the Irvine community,” explained board member Michael Marshall. “It is an honor to help the kids of Irvine, Tustin, and all other participating communities grow educationally through literally dozens of incredible programs.”
Serving over 6,000 kids and families will be served by the comprehensive enrichment programs which range from hands on art, to computer programming, to outdoor adventures to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs for kids ranging from pre-kindergarten to high school across Irvine and surrounding communities.
"Irvine Public School Foundation's Summer Enrichment Academy is doing a truly amazing job at reaching kids during the long days of summer," said Michael Marshall, Chief Financial Officer, First Team Real Estate. "These programs are truly fun ways to improve learning and we are honored to be a part of it."
Relying largely on private donations, the Summer Enrichment Academy is wholly a project of Irvine Public Schools Foundation using public school and other facilities for their innovative programs. The partnership with First Team Real Estate and its foundation started as a discussion on meeting the needs of the widest group of children and families possible.
In its reporting of the gift prior to the June 29th start of the IPSF Summer Enrichment Academy, the Daily Pilot reported that Irvine Public Schools Foundation Chief Executive Officer Neda Eaton stated, "We're using the sponsorship to offer some of the best enrichment opportunities available for kids in Southern California, including fun ways to show students that STEAM (science, technology, education, arts and mathematics) education matters in their day-to-day lives.”
