Arnold Law Wins "Best Law Firm" Award by Eugene, Oregon's Largest Newspaper (The Register-Guard)
Eugene, Oregon (PRWEB) July 05, 2015 -- Arnold Law, a Eugene law firm of eight young lawyers and one retired Oregon state judge, was voted the “Readers’ Choice” best law firm by Register-Guard newspaper readers.
The Register-Guard is read by 66% of adults in Lane County, either in print or online. Lane County has a population of over 356,000 people and over 1000 lawyers. Thus, the competition among law firms is fierce.
With nine lawyers, by Eugene, Oregon, standards, Arnold Law is a medium-sized law firm. Founding partner Jacy Arnold stated, "With our firm only existing since 2002, we are proud of our Oregon lawyers' rise in prominence."
The firm handles a large proportion of what passes as “high profile” cases in the area. Managing Partner Mike Arnold led a team of attorneys in the murder defense of former UFC fighter and retired Marine Corps sniper Gerald Strebendt.
Arnold Law currently represents Stephen Nichols defending him against a false allegation of murder regarding the hiking fall death of his girlfriend Rhonda Casto at Oregon’s famed Eagle Creek Trail (home of the iconic Punchbowl Falls). The case has made national headlines and was recently featured on Nancy Grace.
The “First Place” law firm award follows last fall’s “Eugene’s Best DUI Lawyer” award presented to Mike Arnold by Lane County’s alternative weekly newspaper, The Eugene Weekly.
Arnold Law’s team specializes in complex criminal defense, civil, personal injury, and domestic relations litigation. The firm’s cases often involve criminal cases of public interest, divorces involving local public figures, and litigation involving prominent Lane County and Oregon businesses.
