Hanna Commercial Real Estate Wins Three NAIOP Awards of Excellence
Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- Hanna Commercial Real Estate (http://hannacre.com) received several Awards of Excellence, when the honors were handed out by the Northern Ohio Chapter of NAIOP earlier this month. An annual recognition program, the awards ceremony was held at Cleveland’s Windows on the River on May 13, 2015. The program recognizes the best projects, real estate transactions and individual performances during the previous year (2014) in the commercial real estate industry in Northern Ohio.
If Hanna Commercial Real Estate’s Corporate Services Group performance at the recent Northern Ohio Chapter of NAIOP’s Awards of Excellence is any indication, that assessment definitely rang true in the greater Cleveland region. The Cleveland-based real estate company’s Corporate Services Group walked away from the awards ceremony with four team members being honored with trophies in three different categories and with nominations achieved in several other areas. What’s more, a bit of historical context swirled around these recognitions for the participants.
Among the winners was Diana Golob as Traveling Gun Industrial Broker of the Year. 2014 represented the third consecutive year that Golob has managed to take home this honor. In 2012 she was the first female winner of the title and has successfully defended it in two subsequent competitions. That three-year streak is an achievement only one other person can lay claim to in the award competition’s history.
Another repeat performer was Hanna’s Sean Rooney who won the Industrial Transaction of the Year for the second consecutive year, with the added distinction of being the youngest two-time winner at the age of 28 for a $34 million lease on the East Coast.
Joining Rooney as the winner in the Industrial Transaction category were Hanna team members Anthony Delguyd and David O’Neill. Rooney has been with the firm for less than a year and has already managed the rare feat of moving from long-term corporate real estate executive to service provider and NAIOP winner. Meanwhile, O’Neill, a 36-year commercial real estate veteran, pulled off his 15th win in the Industrial Transaction category.
That wasn’t the only honor with which O’Neill was feted, however. He also scored a solo win in the 2014 International Office Broker category. Here, he was a tenth-time winner.
“These are truly outstanding achievements against a field of talented and experienced service providers in our industry,” said Hanna Commercial Real Estate’s Corporate Services Group head, David O’Neill. “The group is thankful to our clients for the opportunity to serve their real estate needs and to NAIOP for this outstanding recognition.”
NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, was founded in 1967 and has since evolved into one of North America's largest, most prestigious and valuable commercial real estate organizations. Each year NAIOP presents annual awards to companies, individuals and chapters who have demonstrated exemplary efforts in commercial real estate.
