BlumShapiro Partner, Mark Campbell, Elected Board President of Association for Corporate Growth, Connecticut Chapter
Shelton, Connecticut (PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- Mark Campbell, BlumShapiro Shelton Office Partner, has been elected President of the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Connecticut Chapter. Campbell’s term as Board President runs from June 2015-June 2017.

Campbell became a partner in BlumShapiro’s Litigation Services and Business Valuation Group in 2013. He provides privately held companies and business owners with valuation services for shareholder disputes, buy/sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, gifting interests, estate planning and taxation, and matrimonial dissolutions.
Campbell joined BlumShapiro as a manager in 2007. During that time, Campbell has been an active volunteer in many annual BlumShapiro community programs statewide, including the BlumShapiro 5K for Camp Courant at the Travelers Championship and the BlumShapiro Thanksgiving Food Basket Campaign for Christian Community Action.
Campbell received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1992, majoring in Accounting. He received a Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration (with a concentration in taxation) from Pace University in 1997 and 2002, respectively. Campbell became a Certified Public Accountant in 2000. He became Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He has also been a licensed attorney in Connecticut since 1998.
Campbell is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut and Fairfield County Bar Associations and serves as treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Stepping Stones Museum for Children.
