Body Painting Competition & World Record Skinny Dip Headline Mountain Air Ranch Nudist Resort's 80th Anniversary Celebration July 10-12

Everyone is invited to "Feel the Freedom" during this 3-day event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Mountain Air Ranch, Colorado's Family Nudist Resort. Visitors and members can participate in body painting in Colorado's answer to Skin Wars, a World Record Skinny Dip, live music each day, an artisan fair and a luau with pig roast.

On July 10-12, Mountain Air Ranch, Colorado's Family Nudist Resort (http://www.trynude.com) is celebrating 80 years of accepting self and others naturally with a 3-day party open to the public. Many activities are planned over the three days, but the highlights will be the World Record Skinny Dip on Saturday and the Body Painting Competition on Sunday. "Skinny dipping and body painting are easy ways for first-timers to try the nudist experience and family-oriented Mountain Air Ranch ensures a friendly and safe environment for adults and children," says Diane Rousseau, coordinator for the 3-day party. There is no charge for first-time visitors, and others pay standard grounds fees. Families are welcome, but children must be supervised at all times. Car-pooling is encouraged.

On Saturday, members and visitors alike can cool down while setting a hot new record at the “Feel the Freedom” World Record Skinny-Dip across North America for the largest number of people simultaneously in the water without swimsuits, just their birthday suits. This event is sponsored by the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR.com); the last record was set in 2013 including 13,648 people, with 164 of those dipping at Mountain Air Ranch. The simultaneous Skinny Dip takes place promptly at 1:00 pm MDT. In order to be counted as part of the official record, participants should be present at the MAR pool to sign up no later than noon.

Professional body painters, including some that battled on the popular GSN reality TV show Skin Wars, will be competing on Sunday for prizes in six different categories. The competition is jointly sponsored between Mountain Air Ranch and the Denver Face Paint and Body Art Jam. Painting will take place 10:00 am – 5:00 pm with a parade and balloting until 5:30. Sign-ups to be painted begin at 10:00 am. Painting is no-charge, but tips are strongly encouraged. Prizes will be awarded to artists and models at 6:00 pm. Designated professional photographers will be on hand to take photos; no other photography is allowed.

Live music during the weekend will feature Jack White from 7:00-9:00 pm on Friday, Eef & The Blues Express (http://www.eefandthebluesexpress.com) at poolside from 2:00-6:00 pm on Saturday and Stonebraker at poolside on Sunday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. For hungry participants, meals will be offered at reasonable prices throughout the weekend, including a BBQ Friday evening, Luau and Pig Roast on Saturday and Champagne Brunch on Sunday.

Mountain Air Ranch (MAR) is conveniently located in the foothills just 26 miles southwest from the center of Denver. MAR has over 450 members and offers 10 miles of scenic hiking trails, heated pool, hot tub, sauna, massage, outdoor gym, childrens' playground, clubhouse, weekend dining, RV/tent camping and lodging.
