Coleman Worldwide Moving to Open Six New SMARTBOX Locations
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- SMARTBOX, a leading portable storage and moving company, today announces that Coleman Worldwide Moving has committed to open six new SMARTBOX locations. These locations will service Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Jacksonville and Pensacola, Florida.
“We are extremely excited to add SMARTBOX in these key markets. We believe that the do-it-yourself (DIY) option of portable storage and moving will provide our customers with convenient and valuable alternatives that will complement our existing service offerings,” said Jeff Coleman, President and CEO of Coleman Worldwide Moving. “We have seen the popularity of portable storage and moving increase across the country and it has become a cost effective way for customers to prepare their homes for sale, store during remodeling projects, and move locally and across the country. SMARTBOX is a great addition to our existing operations.”
SMARTBOX, founded in 2003, offers individuals and businesses affordable and flexible storage and moving solutions. Customers contact the company, which then delivers its conveniently-sized storage containers directly to their door. Users pack their boxes according to their schedules, and when finished, they can either keep the boxes at their existing site or call SMARTBOX to pick them up for storage at their secure storage centers or delivery to another location – across town or across the country.
“SMARTBOX portable storage containers simplify the moving and storage process and provide an affordable and convenient solution for consumers,” said Dusty Rhodes, Vice President and General Manager of SMARTBOX Solutions, Inc. “We are excited to be partnering with Coleman Worldwide Moving to expand our service footprint into these key markets.”
The Smartbox units are 8 feet long, 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide and designed to hold the contents of one to 1½ rooms (3,000-pound capacity). They’re made of wood, which helps protect stored items from changes in temperature and humidity, and are protected by a weather-tight vinyl cover that protects the box and its contents from weather damage. The size of the box is designed to help users compartmentalize, allowing them to pack and store potentially messy items like garden tools separate from the delicate furniture type items.
