Brown, Gruttadaro, Gaujean & Prato LLC Launches Speaker Series for Health Care Professionals
White Plains, NY (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 -- Brown, Gruttadaro, Gaujean & Prato LLC (BGGP), a full-service law firm with offices in White Plains, New York City and Rochester, has launched a new speaker series aimed at educating current and prospective clients on topics and issues that can affect their personal and professional lives. The firm, which caters to health care professionals, kicked-off the series with an Information and Privacy Protection Seminar, presented in partnership with the Gardiner Epstein Group at Morgan Stanley. The event took place on June 18 at BGGP’s White Plains office.
“We continually strive to offer the health care professionals we work with a full suite of services for any personal or business needs they may have,” said Max G. Gaujean, founding member of BGGP and senior managing attorney for the White Plains office. “The speaker series was created to inform our clients of issues that could affect them so they are better prepared to handle these issues effectively. We are thrilled to have been able to launch this new offering with a prestigious partner like Morgan Stanley.”
Mary Gibbons Gardiner, CRPC®, a Morgan Stanley Vice President and Financial Advisor, presented to a room of physicians that practice throughout Westchester County and New York City. She provided the group techniques and tools to help them protect their information, the three types of identity protection and financial information security. Gary Sastow, partner at BGGP who was recently named Westchester County’s Leading Health Care Attorney at the “Above the Bar” Awards, also spoke during the presentation.
“Many of our clients do all their financial transactions on line and have chip enabled bank cards,” said Gardiner. “Helping them protect their financial data is part of our service as financial advisors, and we shared important tips with those in attendance on how to keep their information safe.”
According to IdentityTheft.com, approximately 15 million U.S. residents have their identities used fraudulently each year, with financial losses totaling upward of $50 billion.
BGGP was founded in 2013 as the successor law firm to Brown & Tarantino LLC, which had been in existence since 1993. Since its inception, BGGP has defended the rights of its health care clients in all phases of professional liability and discipline. The firm is currently working on future events in the series.
