(PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- In an effort to support programs that encourage children and adults with disabilities to get outside, LCI Brands™ will be donating items to Common Ground Outdoor Adventures’ Reach for the Stars event. In its 23rd year, this benefit auction, including live and silent auctions as well as a dinner, raises about $20,000 each year using products contributed by individuals and businesses.
LCI Brands will be providing Lewis N. Clark® ElectroLight™ Duffels and ElectroLight Sling Packs, as well as heavy-duty Duffels, which are perfect for many of the organization’s activities, including canoeing, cycling, snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, climbing, and rafting.
“With these funds, we are able to purchase our own adapted outdoor equipment, allowing our participants to participate at low to no cost for our activities and trips,” said Jaimie Beazer, Event Coordinator.
Common Ground Outdoor Adventures’ mission is to provide life-enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities for youth and adults with special needs. “These experiences reduce stereotypes, raise awareness, and empower people to realize their full potential,” Beazer said.
The Reach for the Stars event will be held on October 7th in Logan, Utah.
