Globally-recognized restaurant brand Tony Roma’s announces the launch of its Backyard Grill Out menu, a limited-time campaign featuring feel-good barbecue cuisine and refreshing drinks, offered July 8 – September 15 at participating locations.
“We’re creating an all-American atmosphere and dishes with lip-smacking taste, all of it inspired by warm summer nights by the grill,” said Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., parent company of Tony Roma’s. “We hope our guests will allow us to spoil them with our authentic flavors that leave no craving unsatisfied.”
Guests are invited to start with the Cajun Onion Loaf, a twist on Tony Roma’s most iconic appetizer. Breaded and deep fried Spanish onions are served with a spicy Sriracha ranch sauce that is sure to wake up taste buds. A lighter fare option is the Honey Lime Shrimp Salad with mango, avocado, tortilla strips, bacon, feta cheese, grape tomatoes, and cilantro.
The Summertime BBQ Trio is perfect for the guest that wants to try it all with a half rack of Tony Roma’s Original Baby Back Ribs basted with Sweet Black Pepper BBQ Sauce, jalapeño sausage with beer mustard sauce, and a quarter chicken with White BBQ Sauce. The White BBQ Sauce, made with mayonnaise instead of tomato sauce, is also featured on the Beer Braised Chicken. Both entrées are served with the new sidewinder fries, a fun twist on traditional fries. Top it all off with the fresh-baked Peach & Blackberry Cobbler with vanilla ice cream for a sweet ending to a night out.
At the bar, guests can indulge in a refreshing Watermelon Romarita, made with watermelon purée, Cointreau, Sauza Gold and grenadine. Also available is the Charles & Charles Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blended red wine and the Curious Traveler Shandy, a wheat ale with hints of lemon and lime.
