Baywood Hotels Celebrates Opening of Fairfield Inn & Suites Arundel Mills BWI Airport

During its grand opening celebration, held Thursday, June 4, 2015, the Arundel Mills’ hotel team and supporters celebrated the hotel’s recent opening, as well as involvement in its local community. Leading up to the celebration, Fairfield Inn & Suites Arundel Mills BWI Airport hosted a fundraiser and resultantly presented a $3,500 donation to benefit Mended Little Hearts of Greater Baltimore, an organization providing support to families affected by congenital heart defects. The donation will help fund the assembly of Bravery Bags, which are comprised of toiletries, a Courageous Heart Token, stuffed lion and other comfort items, given to families after a child undergoes heart surgery or other procedure.

Attendees at the jazz-themed hotel opening and fundraiser included those from Marriott International, BB&T Banking, and the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, as well as other local and national banks and businesses. The event featured guided tours of the hotel, live jazz music and giveaways, including a Windows Surface 3 and overnight stays at the new BWI hotel.
The recently-opened, 96-room hotel is the newest of hotels near Arundel Mills Mall and features Fairfield Inn & Suites’ new modern design with thoughtfully-designed and inventive spaces for both business and leisure travelers.
