The Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational Is Set To Create the Ultimate Golf Entertainment Experience While Giving Back to The Community; Event to Be Held July 11-13
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- The 2nd annual Coach Woodson Las Vegas Invitational, the ultimate luxury weekend hosted by Assistant Clippers Coach Michael Woodson, will take place July 11-13, 2015 in Las Vegas, merging basketball with golf, fashion and fun experiences in support of a great cause. The event, co-hosted by ESPN SportsCenter Anchor, Jay Harris, Actor and Comedian Erik Griffin and Professional Golfer and Fashion Designer, Seema Sadekar, kicks off Friday, July 10 with an educational basketball clinic presented by COX Communications that will host junior participants who will receive hands-on coaching experience from the accomplished Coach Woodson.
On Saturday, July 11, VIP guests are invited to attend the Woodson Jacket Welcome Reception, presented by Zacapa Rum at the Paiza Lounge at The Venetian. On Sunday, July 12, the event opens to participants with a Woodson will host a Celebrity Skins Game at Southern Highlands Golf Club presented by Casamigos Tequila followed by a Red Carpet and Pairings Party at LAVO, inside The Palazzo® Las Vegas where celebrities will be announced and Jon B. will perform for invited guests. Additionally, John Starks will co-host a cigar lounge with Coach, featuring his Legends cigars.
On Monday, July 13 guests will tee off at Southern Highlands Golf Club after the National Anthem is performed by Jeffrey Osborne, Ladies enjoy Tea with Terri Woodson, wife of Mike Woodson, at the Paiza Lounge at The Venetian. Ladies will wear all white and fancy hats and will then be escorted to the golf course in style to watch guests come up 18. After the tournament, the top three finishing celebrities will select one amateur in their group and compete in The Woodson Alternate Shot Playoff presented by Casamigos for the The Woodson Championship Title. Immediately following golf, Cedric the Entertainer and Seema Sadekar will present awards to the tournament champions during the Champions Ceremony presented by Air Canada.
