Walter O’Brien, Scorpion Computer Services founder and real-life inspiration behind the hit CBS-TV series “Scorpion”, appeared as a keynote speaker at OCTANe’s Technology Investor Forum on May 22, 2015. Formerly known as "VC in the OC", the Technology Investor Forum is the largest conference in Southern California focused on high growth and innovation technology investment. From investment presentations to keynote speakers to industry discussions, this is SoCal’s premier investment conference.
As an organization, OCTANe has helped more than 800 companies via the LaunchPad™ SBDC accelerator. LaunchPad™ companies have received more than $700 million in investment and equity exits. These investments have supported the creation of more than 3,500 new jobs in Orange County.
OCTANe hosts two annual events to showcase and promote innovation in Orange County.
