Thirteen Area First Choice Emergency Room Facilities Rebranded as UCHealth Emergency Room
Aurora, CO (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- University of Colorado Health (UCHealth), under its partnership with Adeptus Health has officially rebranded 13 First Choice Emergency Room facilities throughout Colorado Springs, northern Colorado and the Denver Metro area to UCHealth Emergency Room.
“This partnership is designed to improve access to high quality emergency care and enhance the overall continuum of care for patients in Colorado,” said Nils Albert, Area Medical Director, UCHealth Emergency Room.“We are ensuring a seamless transition for our patients and they can expect the same level of care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
UCHealth ERs are located within communities to provide much needed, convenient access to high-quality medical care, and facilities are equipped with a full radiology suite including: CT scanner, digital x-ray, and ultrasound, as well as on-site laboratory capabilities. UCHealth ER facilities are staffed exclusively with board-certified physicians and emergency trained registered nurses.
“Providing advanced care, close to home, is UCHealth’s priority, and these emergency facilities enable patients across the Front Range to receive great care in a more convenient way,” said Dr. Richard Zane, UCHealth’s executive director of emergency services and chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Patients who visit a UCHealth Emergency Room will have increased access to UCHealth’s broad network of hospitals and nationally recognized physicians.
