Our strategy with 5301 Southwest Parkway is to create the defining, contemporary corporate campus destination that will set the benchmark for all future office developments
San Francisco, Calif. (PRWEB) July 09, 2015
Today Drawbridge Realty unveiled its plans to develop Phase II of 5301 Southwest Parkway in Austin, Texas into a world-class corporate campus destination. The development will include the addition of a new 125,000-square-foot corporate office building, expansion of the existing parking garage and a renovation to the existing 164,700-square-foot corporate office building. 5301 Southwest Parkway is already home to some of Austin’s most exciting and well-known companies such as Yeti Coolers and Textron Systems (formerly Overwatch Systems, Ltd.). This investment marks Drawbridge Realty’s largest investment in the Austin market to date.
“Drawbridge Realty continues to see opportunities in the Austin market that we are ready to capitalize on,” said Chris Elmendorf, vice president of investments for Drawbridge Realty. “This property in Southwest Austin gives us a great platform to create something unique.”
The Phase II development of 5301 Southwest Parkway will have design features and amenities unparalleled in the competitive Austin market today. This includes a first of its kind, a la carte amenities and features package including club facilities, like an arcade, racquetball, gaming, golf simulator and napping pods, to luxury options such as an on-site concierge, premium vending, mother’s room, gym, showers and lockers. The club and luxury extras are all built into the design strategy of the corporate campus development. Like buying a new car and selecting the “extras,” tenants will be able to choose from a wide menu of features and options in order to fully customize their corporate office environment.
“We know how competitive the market is in Austin to attract and retain the best talent,” said Mike Embree, vice president of asset management at Drawbridge Realty. “Our strategy with 5301 Southwest Parkway is to create the defining, contemporary corporate campus destination that will set the benchmark for all future office developments.”
Levy Architects has been selected as the lead design firm for 5301 Southwest Parkway. “We’re excited to partner once again with Drawbridge Realty,” stated Stephen Levy, AIA Levy Architects. “They have challenged us to design a world class corporate campus that will not only set the bar for a corporate campus, but will also hopefully stand the test of time, and reflect the best of what we like to call Texas Contemporary design that folks are seeing here in Austin and beyond.”
Troy Holme and Casey Ford, with CBRE in Austin will lease the new development. For more information contact direct at troy(dot)holme(at)cbre(dot)com or casey(dot)ford(at)cbre(dot)com.
