“Extreme Weight Loss”: Jenn Begins a Transformation Journey at the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center in the Shadow of Impending Tragedy
Aurora, Colo. (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- The next episode of “Extreme Weight Loss” Season 5 features an obese mother who is desperate to become healthy for her two young children. Jenn (42 years old; from Cody, WY) has had a life filled with tragedy. She has struggled since childhood to deal with the death of a sibling and is now supporting her husband as he battles a terminal illness.
Jenn’s unprecedented 365-day weight loss journey will be chronicled in the episode of “Extreme Weight Loss” airing on TUESDAY, JULY 14 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.
Jenn’s struggles with weight trace back to when she was just eight years old. Her younger brother struck his head on a brick hearth while she was playing with him and died three days later. Jenn spent the following decades gaining weight as she tried to deal with her guilt and now weighs 342 pounds.
Her latest agony is the prospect of her husband’s death. He is expected to live only another five to seven years, which prompted Jenn to attempt to transform her life and become healthy for their children. This episode follows Jenn as she sets out on her inspiring journey despite the intense emotional pressures facing her at home.
“Extreme Weight Loss” returns to the University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center for Season 5.
