Young Footballers Encouraged to Sign up for Hednesford Town Trials
Hednesford, Staffordshire (PRWEB UK) 10 July 2015 -- Budding young footballers are being invited to try out for the new Hednesford Town Youth Development Squad. The under-14 team, which has been introduced for the 2015/16 season, will be holding trials for all positions on 19th July 2015.
This new squad will be led by FA qualified coach, Darryl Moffat, who has successfully managed other youth teams across the region and has led youth squads in the US to cup and league victory.
Joining the Hednesford Town Youth Development Squad will give young footballers the opportunity to develop their skills, train with an enthusiastic coach and hopefully go on to become semi-professional or professional footballers. As Darryl Moffat said:
“I’ve coached a number of different youth teams, both here and in America but I’m really looking forward to seeing the talents of local footballers from around the Hednesford area. I would encourage any under-14s with a passion for football and the desire to progress in the sport to come on down to the trials on the 19th and show us what they are capable of.”
Those who succeed in the trials will not only receive a place in the squad and a structured training programme but will also enjoy free entrance to all Hednesford Town FC home league games.
Anyone interested in attending the trials should email HTYDS(at)btinternet(dot)com for further information.
Hednesford Town FC has been established since 1880 and already has a number of successful junior teams. To find out more information about the club please visit their website.
