We’re excited about our new headphone bar because it will give our clients the opportunity to really get a sense of what these headphones can do, first hand.

Audio Den, a full service residential and commercial custom electronics design and integration firm, today announced the opening of a brand new headphone bar in their flagship Experience Center on Middle Country Road. Audiophiles will now be able to experience critical listening sessions in order to compare a wide variety of high-end headphones side-by-side.

Construction on the headphone bar began in February and it is open this month. The space was built from a totally customized design with an autonomic music server that features multiple audio sources. Users will be able to control each set of headphones through individual amplifiers.

“We’re excited about our new headphone bar because it will give our clients the opportunity to really get a sense of what these headphones can do, first hand. You can read reviews and look at pictures, but there’s no other place where you can hear, see and feel them like this. As a company with ‘audio’ in the name, we felt it was important to bring this experience to our clients,” says Head of Business Development at Audio Den, Justin Feldstein.

Featuring an eclectic assortment of high-end products, the headphone bar will give clients more than just a sense of what the headphones can do. It will allow them to see an up-to-date landscape of the best personal audio products currently on the market.

Some highlights include:

  • Audeze EL-8 and LCD-3: These headphones are designed by BMW Design Group and work with most portable devices. They feature both open and closed-back models as well as planar magnetic technology.
  • Sennheiser Momentum: This model emphasizes durability with metal ear cups that are water resistance. These head phones allow for easy control while in motion with its integrated remote.
  • Grado SR225e: A lower cost though high quality model, these headphones are locally made.

Interested customers can visit the headphone bar Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, and Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
