We recognize the competitive advantage this type of integration offers our clients in the construction marketplace
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) July 13, 2015
Viewpoint Construction Software and strategic partner, Comdata, now offer tighter product integration between Vista, Viewpoint’s leading construction Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Comdata’s Virtual Payment MasterCard solution providing customers a more secure and effective electronic process for paying vendors.
For construction firms, building efficient AP processes translates to using an electronic payables solution that streamlines the payment process. The latest release of Vista by Viewpoint includes new integration features with Comdata to automate the electronic payment process in three ways.
First, new FTP functionality allows for two-way transmission of payment and reconciliation files, eliminating the need to leave Vista to use a third party FTP client. Second, a new prompt to upload to Comdata promotes faster payment processing while reducing errors and delays with just a click of a button. Finally, files received from Comdata can now update the AP Payment History in Vista with payment information specific to each transaction.
“We’re excited to offer customers these new time-saving and error-reducing features in the latest release of Vista by Viewpoint,” stated Henry Ferguson, Director of Business Development with Viewpoint. “Comdata and Viewpoint worked closely together to develop a rich roadmap for integration that greatly improves AP process efficiency for the construction market.”
“We recognize the competitive advantage this type of integration offers our clients in the construction marketplace,” said Eric Newton, Senior Vice President for Construction with Comdata. “Our ongoing strategic partnership with Viewpoint allows us to offer our mutual clients an evolving best-in-class construction technology solution to positively impact payment processes and ultimately support business growth.”
