Shady Grove Fertility to Host Summer Infertility Education Series for Prospective Fertility Patients

Share Article

One of the nation’s leading fertility centers, Shady Grove Fertility provides an ongoing learning series to advise the community about infertility basics and financial options.

Shady Grove Fertility physicians and staff will host a Summer Infertility Education Series. As part of this series, free seminars will take place in practice locations throughout MD, VA, DC, and PA, as well as online webcasts.

Shady Grove Fertility endeavors to provide prospective patients with an in-depth fertility education before undergoing clinical care. In an effort to extend this education to the community on a larger scale, Shady Grove Fertility physicians and staff will host a Summer Infertility Education Series. As part of this series, free seminars will take place in practice locations throughout Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania, and online webcasts will also be made available to a global audience.

In July 2015, the Shady Grove Fertility offices in Towson, MD; Hagerstown, MD; Chesterbrook, PA; Reading, PA; and Bel Air, MD, will be offering free Fertility Options seminars. At these seminars, physicians will present on the common causes of infertility, treatment options and success rates, and Shady Grove Fertility’s exclusive financial programs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a question and answer panel with physicians at the end of the presentations.

In addition to these seminars, Shady Grove Fertility will be offering a Getting Started webcast for prospective or new patients. Prospective patients will learn what to expect during their first appointment: an overview of their fertility evaluation, the practice’s stepped care approach to treatment, and the unique financial programs that are available to patients. Webcasts presenting financial options for patients and general fertility facts will also take place in July.

Shady Grove Fertility will also host several seminars and webcasts on donor egg treatment. The Shady Grove Fertility Donor Egg program—the largest in the United States—has successfully matched over 5,000 couples with a qualified egg donor since its inception. Shady Grove Fertility will provide an in-depth view of the program, as well as information about the Shared Donor Egg financial program, which can provide a reduction in treatment cost of up to 50 percent.
