Hunt Mortgage Group Hires Michael A. Abbasfard as Vice President in the Small Loan Group
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 15, 2015 -- Hunt Mortgage Group, a commercial real estate lender, announced today that Michael A. Abbasfard has joined the firm as Vice President in the Small Loan Group. In this role, he will source and originate Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae small loans for clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. He will be based in Tysons Corner, Virginia and will report to Owen Breheny, Director, at Hunt Mortgage Group.
Abbasfard comes to Hunt Mortgage Group from JP Morgan Chase where he served as a Client Manager in the firm’s Washington, DC office for more than a decade.
“Michael is a seasoned commercial real estate and multifamily housing finance executive with more than 15 years of industry experience,” noted Breheny. “While at Chase, he managed a portfolio of over $400 million multifamily commercial real estate loans and implemented a local credit policy for the Metro DC area in line with Chase’s overall credit culture. Earlier in his career Abbasfard was an Agent at Pro-Mark Financial in Santa Ana, California and a Manager and Senior Loan Consultant at Solstice Capital in Garden Grove, California.
He attended the University of Southern California where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the Marshall School of Business. Abbasfard is a member of the Northern Virginia Apartment Association, the Apartment & Office Building Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association of Metropolitan Washington, and the District of Columbia Building industry Association.
