FarmTek Thanks Those Who Serve with New Heroic Harvesters Program
SOUTH WINDSOR, CONN. The Heroic Harvesters program aides U.S. military veterans looking to build a career in the agriculture industry.
In order to take advantage of FarmTek’s Heroic Harvesters program, veterans must carry an active membership with the Farmer Veteran Coalition. The program also offers access to FarmTek’s controlled environment agriculture (CEA) schools, where industry experts educate attendees on the latest in agriculture technologies and techniques, including hydroponics, greenhouse growing and aquaponics.
There are a number of hurdles that former U.S. military members experience in the agriculture industry, but with the Heroic Harvesters program, FarmTek helps facilitate and streamline any veteran farmer’s process from start to finish. The Heroic Harvesters program provides special financing options, educational programs and priceless consulting.
