My Digital Shield (MDS), a leading provider of Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS) for small businesses, today announced that Zak Karsan, a business development and strategic alliance expert, has joined its advisory board. With more than 20 years of experience working in the technology industry, Karsan joins MDS’ expert advisory board comprised of security industry veterans, including Robert May from Fortinet, Steve Padgett from Google, Caleb Sima from BlueBox Security and Eddie Schwartz from White Ops. Karsan will leverage his background to help promote and accelerate MDS’ growth within the IT channel and small business markets.

A technology industry veteran, Karsan brings extensive experience developing and managing strategic alliances, channels and client relationships. Currently Karsan serves as the director of sales at OneCloud Software and is responsible for the company’s channel development, strategic alliances and business development. Throughout his career, he has held management positions at numerous technology companies including ARC Disaster Recovery, CO Space Services (acquired by InterNAP Network Services) and VaultLogix (acquired by InterCloud Systems). Karsan also previously founded Vault America that has provided cloud storage services to channel partners for the last 10 years.
