Retropassion21 Opens 5000 Square Foot Showroom with Authentic Mid Century Furniture on Dawson Blvd in Norcross, GA
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 16, 2015 -- Retropassion21 has opened a 5000 square foot showroom with authentic mid-century furniture along I-85 on Dawson Blvd in Norcross, GA. The location is right around the corner from Atlanta’s mid-century modern Northcrest subdivision and a 20 minute drive from downtown Atlanta. The address is 6586 Interstate Ct. Norcross, GA 30093.
Retropassion21 is open every Saturday from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM and during the week by appointment with more regular opening hours coming soon.
Most of Retropassion21’s inventory is imported directly from Europe. A new shipment with over 200 pieces has just arrived and the showroom is packed with Danish Modern credenzas, dining chairs and tables, bedroom furniture, bookcases and wall units to name just a few.
“I moved my mid-century furniture business from the UK to Atlanta last year. I had been selling mid-century furniture out of my home in England for 5 years. The furniture was easy to come by and I was looking for a new market to expand into. I noticed the popularity of Danish and British mid-century furniture in the US and decided to fill a 40 foot shipping container with carefully chosen pieces from Denmark and from England and make them available to mid-century enthusiasts in the US. Last month we brought in our second shipment with over 200 pieces from Europe,” said Susanne Bremer, owner of Retropassion21.
“We are going to bring in a shipment from Europe every few months and we are going to offer the largest collection of authentic Danish and British mid-century pieces in Atlanta. We want to bring in popular pieces such as wall mounted modular shelving units and Danish credenzas as well as unique and hard to find pieces. Many of our buyers tell us that they have been looking for a certain Danish desk or table or set of teak chairs that they fell in love with for a year or longer and could not find it. Therefore we are going to have a wish list and will try to find the exact piece in Europe that our buyers may be looking for and bring it back on the next shipment.”
Buyers can purchase the furniture in the showroom or online. Retropassion21 delivers at no cost in the Atlanta area and is able to offer low cost delivery to New York City, Florida and Nashville, TN by doing their own deliveries to these locations. Affordable nationwide shipping is also available.
“We want to offer a broad range of services to our customers,” Bremer continues. “We offer competitive furniture rental rates for photo shoots and movie and TV sets. We are currently developing a furniture restoration service including restringing of Danish cord chairs so our customers can bring their mid century pieces to us and have them restored to their former glory. We can also consign for those looking to sell their priced mid-century furniture.”
