San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 14, 2015
A 73% year-over-year lift in 2015 in the amount of customers it has put into the Cloud made the locally owned and operated Agile IT the ideal choice for Partner of the Year as it has “dwarfed everyone else in the Western Region,” said its Microsoft representative.
In addition to the lift in its Cloud business, Agile IT also delivered 98% growth in its on-premises lines of business services, and was recently ranked as the 15th Fastest Growing Private Company in San Diego.
The company has specialized in Microsoft solutions since its inception nearly a decade ago when it was “a shop of one—me—operating out of my Del Mar apartment,” said Agile IT CEO and founder, John Gilham, a former Business Technology Consultant for Microsoft.
“We’re honored to be named Microsoft’s Cloud Partner of the Year for the fourth year in a row [Agile IT has won the award in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015],” said Gilham. “While much of our success can be tied to the thousands of users we have migrated to Office 365, a good part of it is linked to other parts of our business, too, both in the Cloud and on-premise.”
Agile IT specializes in solutions and services that help organizations get more from business technology — with Office 365 migrations, server virtualization, single sign-on solutions, systems security, datacenter optimizations on-premises and in the cloud, and managed IT support services being among its strengths. The company offers both fixed-price solutions and custom consulting services for organizations with anywhere from 20 to 5,000 full-time employees.
“Our clients run the gamut from independently owned companies with 15 or 20 FTEs [full-time employees] to entire municipalities with thousands of staff members,” said Gilham. “What we do is a fit for any vertical, too, as our client roster demonstrates.” The company counts financial services firms, non-profits, schools, and healthcare organizations among its clients.
The Microsoft Cloud Partner of the Year Award was bestowed on Agile IT on July 13,, 2015, at Microsoft’s World Partner Conference in Orlando, Florida.
