A newly created entity, Cuisine Innovations Unlimited, LLC (CIU); announced today that it has acquired Cuisine Innovations, LLC and its subsidiaries. CIU is wholly owned and operated by the same group that owns The Fillo Factory, and the resulting combined business will be one of the largest privately held manufacturers of frozen hors d'oeuvres in the USA. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Lakewood, NJ, Cuisine Innovations Unlimited, LLC is a value-added manufacturer of premium hors d’oeuvres, kosher specialty items, frozen value-added seafood, and veggie burgers. The Fillo Factory, Inc is based in Northvale, NJ and is a well-known supplier of premium quality Fillo dough & shells, frozen gourmet hors d’oeuvres and center-of-the-plate solutions. The combined manufacturing synergies of these two organizations will provide organic, gluten free, kosher, natural and conventional branded and private label products for all market channels.
Cuisine Innovations manufactures under many well-known brands including Cuisine Innovations, Cohen’s, Ratner’s, Barney’s, New Wave Cuisine and Kaptain’s Ketch and will join the well-known Fillo Factory brands, which include The Fillo Factory, Fillo Bistro, Appetizers To Go, Hors D’Oeuvres Unlimited and Aunt Trudy’s.
Ron Rexroth, owner and CEO of The Fillo Factory will become the CEO of Cuisine Innovations Unlimited, LLC. Both organizations will utilize the strengths of their manufacturing facilities, R&D capabilities and sales force to further enhance their industry position as the preeminent “one-stop shop” for all premium hors d’ oeuvres, seafood, center of the plate and dessert items.
