Evanston Gets Its Second Taste of Farm-to-Crust, Bake-at-Home Pizza
Evanston, IL (PRWEB) July 16, 2015 -- Summer’s here and bake-at-home pizzeria Bake425˚ is turning up the heat with its newest spot for oven-ready pizzas piled high with fresh, locally grown flavors.
Bake425˚ opens its second shop in Evanston at 1301 Chicago Ave. on Thursday, July 16, with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, July 18. Stop by between 12pm and 3pm for samples of local and organic from-scratch pizzas and small-batch sodas.
The Bake425˚ team will be on hand to talk about the ways in which they strive to reduce the number of steps from farm to crust — everything from sourcing local and organic ingredients to making their own sauces and dough in house daily.
With the addition of a second Bake425˚ location, Evanston locavores and foodies can spend more time enjoying the weather and less time prepping dinner with bake-at-home pizzas such as Backyard BBQ, a sweet and smoky combo of herb-rubbed chicken thighs, caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella and barbecue sauce. Also available are salads such as the Sunshine Salad, a lively mix of peppery arugula, toasted pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, roasted squash and Parmesan shavings tossed in a bright lemon oil dressing.
The new Evanston location is the sixth Bake425˚ spot to open in the Chicagoland area. The company’s flagship store opened in Highland Park last fall, followed soon after by grand openings in Winnetka, Evanston, Lake Forest and Glencoe. An additional store is planned in Hinsdale later this year.
Bake425˚ is open Monday–Thursday from 2pm to 8pm, and Friday–Sunday from 1pm to 8pm. Orders may be placed by calling 847-425-1000.
