The Executive Women’s Forum and Black Hat Are Pleased to Announce the Launch of the Future Female Leaders Scholarship Program
Flemington, NJ (PRWEB) July 17, 2015 -- The Executive Women’s Forum (EWF) and Black Hat are pleased to announce the launch of the Future Female Leaders Scholarship Program. This program will award 50 scholarships to attend Black Hat USA 2015 on August 1-6, 2015 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The scholarship program supports the EWF’s mission to attract, retain and advance women in the Information Security, IT Risk Management and Privacy industries.
“As we strive to minimize the gender gap among InfoSec professionals and develop the next generation of female leaders, our hope is to give students the opportunity to learn, network, and collaborate with the industry’s brightest minds” says Joyce Brocaglia, CEO of Alta Associates and Founder of the EWF.
Complimentary academic passes will be awarded to female university students who demonstrate a passion for Information Security as well as a proven history of related experience and coursework. Each academic pass allows full access to all Black Hat Briefings on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6.
The Executive Women’s Forum will be represented at Black Hat USA 2015. The EWF invites all women attending Black Hat USA 2015 to the EWF Meet & Greet on August 5, 2015 at 12:30 pm to engage and connect with the brightest minds and most dynamic personalities - the women in Information Security.
