Steve Bishop, Executive Director and President of the Florida Region of USA Volleyball, said, “This year we have another impressive list of athletes from clubs across Florida along with coaches from eight different colleges and numerous clubs representing our Team Florida Indoor HP All-Star program. As the third oldest region in the US with an indoor HP program, we have a long tradition of excellence and our delegations continue to increase our profile on the international stage each year. This year we are pleased to announce that the Florida Region received an anonymous donation to help reduce the cost for all of our travel team athletes by $150 each, which is a reduction of approximately $15,000. With the already generous support of 1st Place Volleyball and ASICS America, this new donation makes the trip even more attainable for elite junior athletes of all socioeconomic levels. We look forward to another memorable trip to the 2015 USA HP Championships in Des Moines and returning to the medal stand in as many divisions as possible. Fans can follow our progress on our website and through our various social media platforms.”
