Popkey Launches Desktop App To Help Send GIFs From Work & School
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) July 15, 2015 -- PopKey, the developers of the World’s first GIF keyboard, today announced the launch of its desktop application aptly named ‘Send GIFs’ as part of its expanding micro-content™ distribution platform.
With more than 2 billion desktop computers worldwide, and the average person spending an average of 103 minutes per day in front of a computer screen at work or at school, the PopKey desktop app will enable these users to easily send GIFs from PopKey’s extensive library.
Less than 9 months old, PopKey has already signed content distribution deals with some of the largest brands in the world including Lexus, Dr Pepper, Red Bull, Starbucks, Funny or Die, The CW, Paramount, HBO, MLB and Sony Music to name a few.
“We want to be at every touchpoint to enhance communications with the power of GIFs,” says PopKey co-founder, Adrian Salamunovic. “Although mobile messaging is our core area of focus and is a primary driver of use, why should the fun stop at work or at school? Especially as millennials begin to make up a larger percentage of the workforce and begin communicating internally with new tools.”
PopKey Send GIFs App is always one click away and lives on the users menu bar. It features a simple drag and drop or click to copy interface to quickly send GIFs via all the most popular apps like Slack, HipChat, Yammer, Google Docs, Basecamp, MailChimp, GitHub, Email and more. PopKey continues to work with major platforms like Facebook Messenger, iMessage, Google Hangouts, SMS and more.
The addition of the Send GIFs desktop app also enables PopKey to continue to help brands create meaningful content for messaging and reach a highly social workforce, placing their promoted content directly into conversations.
Send GIFs is currently available to download for free for Macs 10.9 or higher and for Windows 7 and above.
