Cloud operators that rely on open-source tools like Cloudify for orchestration can now spend a lot less time creating YAML code, thanks to a new, TOSCA-compliant graphical blueprint editor. The Cloudify Blueprint Composer generates YAML code that users can then tweak and modify manually.
Attendees of the Open Source Convention (OSCON) this week in Portland will see a demo of application deployment with Cloudify and TOSCA, including the Blueprint Composer, which is included in the new release of Cloudify 3.2. Cloudify is an open-source cloud orchestration platform based on the OASIS TOSCA Standard. The demo takes place at the OASIS booth (#3 in the Non-Profit Pavilion) at OSCON.
The Cloudify Blueprint Composer was developed by GigaSpaces, a leading provider of TOSCA-based cloud orchestration technologies. GigaSpaces leads the community open-source development effort for Cloudify.
