Highlights of the renovation of this historic 1914 building located one block from Union Square include: Complete renovations of guest bathrooms; All new guest room furniture (including unique under bed luggage storage); Multiple power outlets on nightstands and desks (to accommodate charging of multiple guest devices); As well as various window and lighting upgrades and enhancements.
“We put great care into maintaining the classical charm and history of the building, while also paying close attention to modernizing amenities to make sure our guests would continue to enjoy the charm and feel of an older style hotel while still having access to all modern amenities and creature comforts,” Greystone Hotels President Eric Horodas said of the renovation project.
Understated and elegant, this was the 9-story building’s first comprehensive guest room and bathroom renovation. Kathleen Kita-Palmer (K. Kita Design) oversaw the design, while Eric Epifano (ECEGC INC.) served as General Contractor.
