Savari’s Technology Powering Econolite’s V2X Demonstrations at the University of Michigan’s Grand Opening of MCity
Ann Arbor, MI (PRWEB) July 20, 2015 -- The Mobility Transformation Centre has participation from large automotive OEM and Tier I suppliers apart from others. The key charter is to implement a connected and automated mobility system on the streets of southeastern Michigan by 2021. As a way of providing a test bed for consumer behavior and explore market opportunities in the near future, Mcity is expected to deploy V2X solutions in more than 20,000 cars, trucks and buses across Southeastern Michigan. Savari’s V2X products are utilized in key demonstrations in collaboration with Econolite.
Savari provides both the StreetWAVE™, the only Road Side Unit to be deployed as part of the UMTRI Safety Pilot and the On-board units.
